Nice wooded views, love the trails and lake but very noisy, trashy neighbors, large barking dogs in small apartments and balconies. Teenagers like to set off the fire alarms that can only be deactivated by the Houston fire dept and sometimes they take 2 hours or longer to respond. Meanwhile the loud sirens are so deafening that you can not remain in your apartment. The entire apartment complex needed to be painted back in 1998 when I moved in. I recently drove by and the complex is still in need of painting 10 years later!! The manager when I left was terrible. Gave her my forwarding address in writing and then she never mailed my deposit to me stating that she didn't know where to send it. I eventually got it but that woman if she is still there is a dingbat. The washing machine never worked properly and would routinely "eat" my long sleeve shirts (sleeves would get caught under the agitator and tugging on them to release them caused the shirt to tear). Workmen would come to fix the washer but they never did resolve the problem. My solution - start wearing short sleeve shirts. Absolutely the worst apartment complex I ever lived in!!

Sounds like nothing has changed since I lived there. And they would LIIIIIIIEEE like they were doing it just to stay in practice -- about everything. The main problem was always that if they couldn't scavenge a part from another apartment, whatever was broken in your apartment just wouldn't get fixed. Also the worst place I've ever lived, and I'm including portable construction camps in Middle Eastern deserts.
