TOTALLY JOKE!!! From: msharris07 Date posted: 4/23/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   I had a scheduled move in date of 4.18.08, and had been approved like a month prior to the move in date. My fiance' and I took off work that day to move. While my brother and fiance' were at my old apts packng a UHaul, I went to the office to sign the lease and get the keys. TELL ME WHY when I get there they tell me the apt isn't ready, supposedly they still had a few things to complete the couldn't be completed since the lights weren't on (BTW - I was told to have the on within 48-72 hours prior to the move-in date, and they were turned on that Wed. 4.16.08). The leasing consultant said she didn't even print any of my paperwork out anyway, so could I come back around 3:00pm. I said okay, and went back to my previous apts to help pack. I called the office to check on things since we were ready to go, BUT it just so happened all of a sudden the apt STILL wasn't ready. Supposedly, there was an electrical problem with a light fixture in the Master Bathroom, and I was told I couldn't move in with that type of issue. I asked when it would be fixed and was told I couldn't move in until Monday, after 4pm!! I was like oh hell no. I took off work, everything for me, my child and fiance' was boxed and packed in the UHaul (which was scheduled for return that evening). All in all I had to pay for 4 extra days for the UHaul, 1 night at a hotel, and the lights were still on at this place until Wed. 4.23.08. $480 of my money was tied up in Money Orders, and luckily I hadn't written them out to this hell hole and still had them in my possession. I ended up moving on Sunday to a different complex that was able to get me approved before the office closed and was able to move in on Sunday. I'm about to call Emily Atkins from the news to see about getting ALL of my money back I wasted due to this piece of trash. The manager wouldn't even give me the name and number to the manager or the property management company. What the Hell'!!
