I have lived at this property on and off since 1998, and it's very unusual. They have a guardhouse that is staffed by a live person 24/7--checking everyone who comes in and out. It's very quiet and safe, and the office staff really take good care of you. The apartments are pretty big. The rent is more than some of the competition, but you get what you pay for--I wouldn't feel safe at Ravenwood or Cancun. The negatives are that parking is somewhat limited and that they charge $50 if you have more than two cars. But I got rid of my third car, so that no longer bothers me. You also can't wash your car on property and you can't do mechanic work, which I like to do, but I guess I can see why they don't allow it.
