I Love It Here!!! From: Bigmoneycent Date posted: 7/9/2004 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2004   I would recommend this apartment to anyone! It's spacious and comes equipped with new or like-new appliances. The manager, Jeanette, is the best! She not only cares for the property, but she cares about the needs of the tenants as well. Every time I have needed anything repaired or replaced ( and they have been minimal), there has been no delay from maintenance in making sure it was taken care of. However, it is true that there have been sounds of gunfire late at night, but I believe it's coming from another apartment complex. And, in the last year or so, it seems to have lessened. If you have young (school-age) children, this may not be the place for you, because the neighborhood is less desireable for raising a family. But if you're the type of parent that's responsible, and watch your children, not sending them outside unattended, then you could be happy here. I have seen many parents outside with their children, riding their bikes, or playing at the tennis court. I must repeat, Jeanette does what she can to make it feel like a home. She has hosted Halloween parties each year for the children that live in the building.This past Christmas, she had a photograher availabe, if tenenats wanted to have pictures taken. During the summer, she gives a pool party, with games and prizes for the children. She welcomes new tenants with balloons at your front door upon your move-in day. (Now, that was a nice surprise for me!) I just love living here! If my husband's job wasn't transferring to another city, I would gladly stay here until we are ready to buy a home. Oh...one more thing, we have a security officer at night, and he is as sharp as a tack! If you don't live here or you're not visiting someone here, then you have to take it some place else. I like that!
