I've lived here since March, 2003. Spacious floor plans, reasonable rent, some security. We've never had our cars tampered with, no problems with intimidation or break-ins. Maintenance is friendly and problems are taken care of quickly. There have been some noise issues, but they also seem to be dealt with properly. It's usually very quiet. For a while there were issues with trash around the neighborhood but those who were responsible have since "relocated."

On the downside: When we chose this complex, we were told we would be able to move into a remodeled complex with new counter tops, crown molding and appliances. Despite repeated assurances it would be finished on time, they told us one week before we moved in that the apartment wouldn't be ready and we'd have to move into a different unit without the upgrades. They also promised a new carpet in the second unit, but we didn't get that either. The agent who lied to us has since been fired.

Also, while this complex doesn't accept felonies or section 8, the complex across the street does, and there have been some questionable things going on at the corner gas station. Thankfully it hasn't crossed over to the complex.

The park at Greenspoint is a mile away and very nice, and the YMCA is within walking distance, and the pool is clean. There are a lot of children in the neighborhood, and several stray cats. Landscaping could use some work- they tried to upgrade it this spring but a major rain storm washed away a lot of the mulch and new soil. Overall, though, It's very livable.
