We lived there quite a while ago, around 1991-92, and it was not a nice place even then. Pipes burst, flooding our bedroom carpet and ruining our record album collection, for which we were never recompensed. The walls are thin and you actually can hear everything going on with your neighbors. The hallways stank to high heaven, primarily I believe from the filthy carpeting and the lack of fresh air coming in and out. The apartments are not 'large and spacious'. They were, in fact, fairly small and cramped, the appliances old and not in good working condition. There were, as everyone has said, no washers and dryers in the apartments. The washer dryer room downstairs was a lot of trouble to get to and did not feel like a safe place. All in all, this apartment complex had one single thing going for it - location was great. But it was by far the worst apartment we've ever lived in and we've rented apartments in this area for nearly twenty years. I would not recommend this place to anyone. In fact, I'd recommend tearing the building down and building some nice new apartments for such a great location.
