I am certain that most positive responses about Avalon Square actually written by David, of the infamous and globally criticized duo Pam and David who are the supposed "management" but actually are the most incompetent, sneaky, careless "managers" I have ever in interacted with. David and Pam are required to staff the office from 8am to 5pm. They are there an estimated 35% of the time. The remaining 75% of the time, they are sleeping in, hiding and relaxing in their apartment...and probably posting falsely positive reviews about themselves on this website.
DON'T RELY ON THE POSITIVE REVIEWS! CHECK THE PLACE OUT FOR YOURSELF! Go by the management office during business hours three times - I guarantee the office will be open only once. Or less.
If you must live there or be homeless, you should just live there, but here is advice for you.
1. Buy renters insurance as the place may catch fire again (it has happened twice already in 2007).
2. Do not park in the garage when it rains as your car will end up in a lake.
3. Do not park anywhere else besides the front parking lot as car have been vandalized in spring 2007.
4. Plan to shower elsewhere as the water runs brown and maintenance refuses to address the problem.
5. Stay alert when walking from parking lot to your front door, as the "locked gate" actually does not lock.
6. Plan ahead for an estimate monthly air conditioner breakdown, and if you cannot tolerate the weather without AC or heat, plan to be away for the 1-2 weeks it will take maintenance to repair it.
7. And if you have allergies or sinus problems, don't even bother to check this moldy place out.

you sound like you are really sick in the head. the place is not all that bad? sounds like you need to get laid! its not the best, but i.ve seen worse.
