As many of the previous rating mention, this is a beautiful place. I awake each Firday to the sound of the landscapers outside my window. The grounds are impecible. However, there have been some minor occurences in which the management was a bit short with my wife. The leasing agents have been helpful, though lacked empathy when I made a call to report a mouse in my kitchen, yikes! The neighbors are VERY noisy, which can't be blamed on the management staff...just inconsiderate neighbors. The apartment we moved into was not as the model we were shown. We did not have the built-ins and bookshelves in addition to a double vanity in the master bedroom. Management explained 2 separate contractors built the property. It's my opinion that the construction was poor. Even though my neighbors 2 children are noisy, I don't think they're THAT noisy. I think sounds that should have been muffled were just amplified because it was all done in haste. Management did accommodate us with a free washer and dryer rental. Our carpet needed to be cleaned after 4 months of living there. One year later it STILL sheds. (1/2 of the contents of my vacuum are sheddings from the carpet) Other than these reasons mentioned, and the poor parking at night (which should honestly be expected) everything else was fair. I enjoyed the location and the landscaping daily. It was a beautfil apartment with some areas that need improvement. However considering the change in management, it should be expected. They are cleaning up a host of pre-existing problems. In time, the Bellmeade should be a premier place to rent. Beautiful, and GREAT prices.
