You Get What You Pay For - I Stayed Because I Could Afford It From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/1/2004 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004   The Bentworth is a very affordable place to live when you are on a very strict budget or low income. I stayed because I could afford it Yes, It is the ghetto but not really (not 5th ward or New York ghetto). There are a lot of guys always hanging out smoking marijuana and drinking and sometimes people break into your car or vandilize it. You will see the police from time to time. The parking is bad and parking lot full of pot holes. Sometimes hard to get maintenance over you might have to beg or threaten them but they come eventually couple days or couple months. The trick stay to your self. Lock your car at all times. Supervise your kids and call staff and police about concerns. Document your stay there it will come in hand.
