awful From: Shay21 Date posted: 5/24/2006 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004 1 response   I lived here from Jan '02-May '04 with my family. The place is rundown, initially, the complex was nice and well-kept, then we started noticing more and more ghetto kids running around everywhere because the complex started accepting housing and didn't notify the other residents. The place turned into a dump. One year they were re-doing the buildings and roaches, roaches everywhere. My home was broken into twice by the maintenance people and management did nothing. They had illegal workers doing maintenance at the complex, this is what we were told by some of the management staff. Crime has become horrific around there. I work for the City and there is a running joke with the police that if your car is missing and you live in that area, check The Bentworth because it more then likely is there.
