I've lived here six months. When I moved in, I thought it was ok considering the price. But it has gotten worse by the month. I have received notices of crime from the management more than once. My vehicle was damaged in the parking lot. A vehicle's wheels were stolen, then a vehicle was burned (intentionally). This is all inside the gated apartment complex. I'm not even commenting on the rest of the neighborhood. The management recommends not leaving the apartment after dark and to make sure your doors are locked and alarm set. This is good advice anywhere, but I'd rather it be a precaution, not a necessity. As far as the apartment, roaches are everywhere, even after having my apartment sprayed monthly. Maintenance is quit to respond, but make quick fix repairs that do not last. Parking is a major issue, unless you have no problem walking. Noise is a nightmare when neighbors stand outside my window laughing and talking at 3 am. This is not a safe place for anyone to live, regardless of race. One can live somewhere else for the same amount of money. Personally, I suggest leaving the entire Southwest area.
