I am a young single mother and I feel safe at Beverly Wilshire. I have never had a problem with pests, crime, management, or parking. Parking could be a problem but I went ahead and paid the extra monthly fee to have a reserved covered parking space. The complex is relatively quiet and I rarely see my neighbors. When I reported maintenance problems, the issue was fixed in a timely manner (within 24 hours).

The only incident that occurred was during a thunderstorm and the power went out. The electric gates would not open so several tenants could not get in the complex with their cars. I would have had to leave my car outside the gate and walk in the thunderstorm carrying my baby, but some nice neighbors (who were already in their apartments) broke the gate so it would open and everyone could come home. I think there needs to be a backup system so that the gate will open manually when the electricity goes out.
