My fiance and I lived here from June '01 until March '03, and I can not say that there was a single good experience. One apartment break in (by breaking in the window that faces the stairs) didn't seem to bother them at all, and it took three phone calls to find out if someone was going to come and cover the window for us (they finally did with cardboard and duct tape). It took a few more calls to get them to come and do it properly. The security people have been caught sleeping when they should be driving around the complex, and the 'security' the whole Cityview Company touts in their commercials are explained away by the office staff as 'They are not security gates' and I have SEEN the 'security' guards let in folks and give out the code to anyone. I have had someone ask me for the code, and when I told her no, she called the office and they just let her in (she told me she was going to see her sister, and told them she was visiting a friend. I asked the girl at the office about it, and her answer was 'Oh well.'). We also had 2 car break ins, and saw many more like it. The staff is impolite or rude, depending on the day, and could care less about their residents. They finally got the gate system working when we were leaving, and it took a few phone calls to get them to remove our phone number from the system (3 phone calls to our new apartment, which was a different number from when we were living there!)
Spend just a little more money and move somewhere MUCH nicer. There are plenty of places only 10 miles away that are safer and better.
