I lived at the board walk for a little over two years. At the begining it was ok then when office staff was switched hell broke loose. They try and play these sad games. Monique will tell you one thing while Gayle will say something different, when they fail to tell you that Gayle is Monique's MOTHER. (no joking, she is her biological daughter). ITS so sad how they treat their residents. While we were there our car was broken into and my husbands motorcycle was stolen. there is no security. At night on our patio was a family of possioums. I asked the maintence often to please take care of that seing as I had two small children who wanted to play on the patio (as they were not allowed to play on the property at all). No on ever took care of the possioums. Then we received a notice that tenents would have to pay to use the pool during the summer. The worst is when our apartment flooded due to a bad ac unit and it took them two week to come and pull the then mildewed carpet out of course by then the apt smells awful. then they replaced the carpet in patches and forgot to put the foam under the carpet. so image walking on carpet laid ontop of cement. OUCH!!! then because they left the soggy carpet for so long mold begin to grow on the walls. what did they do, nothing but cut holes in the wall to "remove the mold" and repainted over some molds spots as if we didnt notice. When our lease was up of course we moved quickly. However, the staff decided to tell our new apt that we still had a year left on our lease. hum lets see how they do math, if they only offer up to a year least and we've already been there a year, why would they even go there. Even my new apt staff was shocked that they would say something like that. Good thing I had a copy of my signed lease!!!!!!

You post a review two years after you've already moved out!!! I'm sorry honey but get over it! I've lived here since 2007 and Monique is great manager! We do not have to pay to use the pool and there is security on the property. It is a small property and they do not allow children to play on the grounds because they would be dodging cars which is unsafe. There is a great park nearby, which is where children should play anyway! I'm sorry to hear about your car being broken into and the motorcycle being stolen, that truly sucks when that happens. However, the management is not to blame. In regards to the situation with your apartment it sounds like you may have left out some info, but I suppose you would forget since you haven't lived here in 2 years!!!! The maintenance staff here is awesome!!!! They do their job and you never have to ask them to do anything twice! You moved out already so my advise to you is let go and LET GOD!!!!!! If your looking for a well-maintained propoerty with professional staff, large apartments at decent prices then this is the place for you!!!! I've lived her with my daughter (3 yrs old) since February 2007 and we love it!!!!!!!!!!
