Briar Meadows Apartments

Love It Here From: UTexasJenn Date posted: 7/14/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   I moved to Briar Meadows in January 2008. I had several problems getting anything done with Alliance, but I have not had a single problem with Greystar. The only minor maintenance issue I had was fixed the next day. The property is nicely kept. It is a pet friendly community with several dog owners, yet I have never had an issue with dog crap all over the place. When I dedcided to move I read numerous reviews on here. My main concerns were safety and parking. I have not had a single safety issue, and I come and go at all times of the day and night. The gates to the property always work, so it adds a sense of security. The parking in my section of the property is adequate. I have an assigned covered parking spot, and my frequent guest rarely has a problem finding a close place to park when he comes over. I have never used the gym, so I cannot comment on the equipment. I have used the pool. It is not very big, but it is clean. I have also used the tennis court several times. It is kept up nicely. The floorplans are nice. The mid-size one bedroom is deceivingly spacious, but the closet is quite small. The apartments come with washers and dryers, and the bathrooms have garden tubs. The appliances are all new-ish. My apartment is nice. I am complimented by everyone who comes over, and the wall color is awesome. The new shag-like carpet is nice too. I never hear my neighbors next to or above me. I live near one of the ponds, and the fountain is the only noise I hear at night. The community seems to be very diverse. I see people of every race and age walking around, and everyone is friendly. I apologize for the long review, but I hope this helps someone looking for a new apartment.
