AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This is the absolute worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. It is half a step above a slum.

The property manager has changed seven times in two years, the property has had three owners in the same time period.

The current property management is the worst yet. She will yell, scream and swear at you for attempting to file a simple maintenance request. She will threaten to evict you and take you to court if you ask her to calm down and be reasonable with maintenance requests.

I have come home twice to find power shut off to half of my apartment only for no reason. I contacted the office and they said it was shut off for work and they would have it on in ten minutes. That 10 minutes lasted 72 hours.

Parking is a COMPLETE nightmare. The contractors leave nails and debris all over the parking lot to puncture your tires (I've plugged seven holes and replaced two tires in the last six months) There are no lines painted to mark spaces, so the lot is a giant free for all. The exterior lighting in the parking lots does not work, either. I'm a large male (6', 220#) and former law enforcement officer with the military and I will not leave my apartment after dark without my police issue flashlight.

Maintenance requests are never filled, presumeably due to the complex manager's irrational temprament. Our air conditioner runs 24 hours a day and will not cool the apartment below 80 degrees. It took 14 months to get a leaky faucet replaced and I had to personally repair the front door so that it can be dead bolted.

Water is shut off at random without notice, as well. This occurs approximately three times a month and when water is restored, you must run ALL of your faucets for 20 minutes to clear the dirt and debris from the pipes. Hot water is even less reliable. It never gets above 95 degrees.

Security gates sometimes work, sometimes don't. The only thing you can count on is the gate swinging back while you're driving through and hitting your driver's side mirror if you're not careful.

Noise is a VERY real problem. Between the contractors yelling at each other across the parking lot and courtyard at 7:30 on Sunday morning to screaming children in the afternoon to fighting neighbors and constantly barking dogs, the complex is NEVER peaceful nor quiet. Car alarms are going off constantly (though, with the general nature of this complex, I can certainly understand needing an alarm)

This complex is THE ABSOLUTE WORST. It is a cesspool and it should be avoided at all costs. The two strong points of this complex (good floor plans and it's VERY convenient location) are simply not worth the hassle of dealing with the management or the risk to yourself and your property.

Atleast the cut the welded on spikes off the front gate that stuck into the traffic lane...
