Okay for the cost

My boyfriend and I lived here for 2 years and saw the staff go through 3 sets of management. Unfortunately, the ones that were there when we moved in in 2005 left shortly after. Others were nice, others weren't, and ALL were bad about fixing things or letting us know the happenings around the complex. The maintenance staff was wonderful --- always on point and helpful, and did what they had to to make sure things were functioning... There were a series of bad storms and we sustained roof damage to our apt, and, nearly a year later, we moved out and it was still never fixed. They kept saying they only use one contracting construction company, and assured us they'd call them, but apparently never did or they were just too busy to fix our apt. My car was stolen from the parking lot, which is apparently something that happens a lot... the office said they'd tell corporate, but probably never did. When I told them, they acted nonchalant, as though that's something that happens often. The apt. itself is spacious for the price, located near many things, but also not in the best area, I guess. We never did see our deposit again, and instead just got the run around about calling corporate ourselves. Our experience was okay, but if you can afford a better place, go for it.
