I moved into the Broadmoor a few months ago and so far, so good. I haven't had any problems as far as safety. The fitness room was just updated with new equipment, a security officer was just hired and a curfew has gone in affect for poeple under the age of 18. The premises are maintananced everyday. I think it's a really nice place for not such a great area.
