If you have a lot of time to spare before or after your work and home chores then gladly move in there.
I signed a 9-month lease, and i could never call my home a home! At first, the girls are very nice and friendly but once you sign the lease, they'll torture you to the core, especially the skinny girl. The apt manager is never available to hear the complaints or for any other reason.
The Maintenance which they claim is 24 hrs seems to run on some other time zone, my neighbours and I had to wait for 2-3 days to get the drainage clogging fixed, not once, but on many occations and because of that, the whole house used to skink of poop.
The apt is clean no doubt, but is cleanliness more important or safety' In the 9 months that i stayed there, there have been 4 break-ins in broad day light. The entrance never works, anyone can enter behind someones car at any given time.
Once i forgot my car keys inside my car, which had my house keys too, and i went to the office to make a call to the towing guys, the skinny girl said,"you cant use the phone for silly purposes, i have important calls to recieve. You can walk to the gas station (3/4 mile) and use the pay phone there." and walked away.
The elctricity bill is always 200 for a single and 300 for a double bed. So be prepared to shell out most of your pay check.
Parking is never available after 7pm, so there is a fight for there too. After 10pm you cant even walk on the lanes because the cars are parked right on the curb.
Since this apt complex in located on a prime location, they keep jacking up their prices. Shifting, cancelling or moving to an apt in the same complex is out of the question. They charge the market rate additional handling charges. Once you move out be prepared to shell out another major check charged for the things you havnt and should not be charged for.
Mail, most of the occasions are recieved OPEN. Dont find it wierd if you come back in the evening and find things dis/mis-placed from your apt. They do regular checks w/o imforming. My Ipod, Cell phone charges and cash is still missing.
Rent should be paid on 1st and not 4th(which they claim as grace period). If not 1st then recieve a letter, and be prepared to pay them $10 extra for a single day. Night drop-ins are not considered. add $10 then they accept it.

haha. I'm not mgmt NOR am I skinny, but thanks for the compliment! Not defensive, I just don't care for liars. I've lived here since December and NONE of the things you've mentioned are true with the exception of the parking. Matter of fact, I'll sign this note with my user name... if you check my history you'll see I've left reviews for two other apartment complexes... one in Annapolis MD and one in Ellicott City, MD. So no, not mgmt here... but nice try. To whoever else might be reading: Whoever this guy is, he or she isn't being entirely honest, I think. Broadstone is NOT the best place I've ever lived but it's affordable and it ain't so bad. Like I said, thus far I plan on renewing my lease. If things change later on down the road and I find out that anything you've said here is true, I'll be sure and come back to apologize to you. As of now, I have to say nothing you've said is true in my experience. The entrance has worked fine in the six months I've been here, there have been no reported break-ins, my mail is NEVER opened, far as I can tell no one enters my apt. during the day, there are no roaches in my apt, my electric bill was $79 last month and I ran my AC the whole time... I mean, NOTHING you've said has happened to me here. Period, the End.

Agree with jren! Lived there for 2 yrs.... had my balcony window opened all the time & my highest electricity bill was $78!?! The entrance gate didn't work 2x in 2 yrs?!? Never had any "mail" problems or anyone entering my apartment without me knowing about it! Of course, having a dog ready to "great" anyone at the door was helpful! Pay your bills on time & you'll never have a problem!!!

Can I ask how your electric bills are under $100? I've never had a bill that low and I've switched electric companies twice. My friend lives across from me and she has a very low bill. Maybe my building sucks? Also I'm wondering if her h2o bill is cheaper b/c she doesn't live accross from the fountain. Her car was broken into so I don't recommend leavin anything in your car, but that happens everywhere. As for management, I have complained to the corporate offices on the "skinny lady" I assume we mean the same person. She is awful. From the day I picked up my key she had me in tears. I was going to renew my lease but when I went in she started yelling at me from her office into the lobby/rep area. I was really embarrased. She should have addressed my professionaly and stepped out of her office to speak w/ me or have called me into her office. Sounds like she's upset several people and I feel better now about my complaint to corporate. My lease is up in one month and I'm interested to see but they try to charge me with since I complained. My toilet overflowed twice and they had to replace the entire tank. It was a huge mess and took forever to clean, at least to my standards.

I believe the above, I had several break-ins, I dont know if it was maintenance (probably), or who but I wouldnt recommend this apt to ANYONE. Too many people who also live there have mentioned the same thing to me, they have had things moved or stolen so BEWARE!!!
