Wow. What a good ad hominem defense you put together there guys.
I lived in this complex for 6 years and left in good standing.
I would happily recommend any Gables property. I can not say the same for Broadstone. Gables staffed the place with property managers. Broadstone came in a staffed it with sales people. The property suffered. The units suffered.
I wasn't the only one either. Many of my long term neighbors had the exact same complaints I did. Those "Downhill" reviews below sound pretty accurate compared to what I remember.
The review by the "Office Staff" trying to paint all dissenters as "residents who have been evicted for nonpayment of rent or other lease violations, or who have never actually lived on the property, or by competitors" is stunningly indicative of the types of people running that place.
Shame on you Broadstone.
PS: I would point out that you had to check the box claiming that you "certify I am not an employee or contractor for this community or any other community" before you posted...but why bother.

Then go ahead and move on in. Then you can come back and tell us how much you loved the place...or how much you love working there.

To the original creator of this response: Not shame on us, shame on you. I have to agree with the 1st response, I have not heard one valid complaint. Although you are doing a great job of trying to sell Gables. Are you sure you don't work for them? However you have made several untrue accusations. First of all, I posted the original "From the Office Staff" posting and I do work in the office. I also have a life outside of the office and have lived in apartments myself, where I too have created a screen name to post comments. I used that screen name that I created, not as an employer, but as a resident to post my message. Secondly, what I typed in that posting came straight from a newsletter that the Texas Apartment Association sent to all apartment communities and advised us to post on this website because fraudulent postings are becoming an issue with many communities. Also, the property, nor the units, have ever suffered here. We have many long term residents and we always have high occupancy. So next time you are concerned with how our office is operating, or if you have any real complaints, please contact me. My name is Erica and I can be reached at 713-917-1700 Mon-Fri from 9am-6pm. Thank you for your input.
