I am disgusted by this complex. The manager is a complete moron. She just wants your money and your mouth shut. I moved out recently, and to my suprise we ended up oweing $200 for general cleaning and carpet stains. We lived in the apartment for over 4 years. The appliances were as old as the unit itself (1982). We confronted the manager about the charges and were told that we better pay it has already been sent to collections. She also said that she would not revise the charges. We left the apartment clean, and the carpet was in excellent shape. Apartment grade carpet has a life span of 5 years- no more. She just did not want to pay for the turnaround of that apartment, and was bitter that we moved from this terribly maintained trash heap. Our AC unit broke every summer and the maintenence was slow to act, and would only patch the problem- 90 degrees in the summer was common in our apartment, and the electric bill was out of control $200 easy. The lights are out all over the property, and people hang out all night in the parking lot. So for our residency of over 4 years, our thanks was a slam to our credit and a wicked smile from the rude manager. Brookfield was a decent place to live 4 years ago, too bad for lazy management.

Love all the lies and complete exaggerations. Does it make you feel better about yourself to tear other people down when you probably owed the money in the first place. By the way had any good pizza lately?
