I have lived here for 2 years now, and only because it is close to campus. Though, next year I'm moving to another apartment becuase I have had enough. The management is nice enough, but incompetent. The woman who does the books tells me almost monthly that I havent paid her, and over Christmas, when I paid early, sent a letter to my parents telling them that they were going to ruin my credit becuase of my negligence. When I moved into my 486 square foot efficency (which rents for $716) the dish washer was broken and leaked water everywhere, the closet doors were broken, the toilet and air conditioner leaked, and the bath tub was crusted over with calcium. Then I found out that there were bugs, those giant roaches were crawling in through the air conditioner vents, and were stuck in them, I also found lots of silver fish and other little bugs crawling on the walls. This place will due, if you dont have very high standards, or if you have no other place to go, but there are so many more apartments in Houston that are much bigger, nicer, and cheaper than this. Also, there were a lot of crimes in the complex this year, most of which we didnt even know about. I only found out the magnitude of the crimes (being held up at gun point, kidnapping, and breaking and entering) because the manager told me specialy. They do send out "handy" flyers telling you to lock your doors and windows though. I know I feel safe...
