I have lived here for several years and was very pleased with the complex. Recently though, it has deteriorated. The week end of June 6th and 7th, there were two muggings; we receive letters that Camden Security has been notified, but as with previous muggings, nothing is ever done (the complex seems to make safety our issue and not theirs.) I have to admit I have seen some shady looking characters "hanging out" at the complex. I leave for work at 5:30 A.M., and I constantly keep an eye out as I am going to my car (that is not the way I want to live.)
The place needs renovated; new appliances, tubs, and windows.
Despite the above, I have always found the management approachable and the maintenance excellent!
I will be moving at the earliest opportunity.
Update; the week of June 27, 09 there were several car break-ins.
Update; in the past several months there have been at least two break-ins and approx. two weeks ago (end of Oct., 09) a resident was mugged when leaving for work. Also, the police have had to intervene three times re: domestic violence in an apartment near me.
After the mugging, the management sent a letter that security cameras would be installed...none so far at the time of this typing.
Update...last week a camera surveillance system was installed near the entrance...I think that is a step in the right direction.
