This used to be a nice place From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/24/2003 Years at this apartment: 1993 - 2003 1 response   This complex has no security guards despite the crime in the area. There is no security what so ever. Over the past 2 years the category of complex residents have gradually become less and less acceptable. My previous neighbor was a stripper and a drug dealer. There is an apartment next door that reminds me of the projects in a ghetto. Previous apt managers have done nothing to improve landscaping, security or community fellowship. They just come work and go home. Because they do no live on the property they do not care about the Crossings community just their commissions and paychecks. We have a new manager and I really am hopeful that she takes an interest in this complex. We need it. The previous few managers did not care. When I first moved here we had some managers that really took an initiative and kept the property up. Gradually this place has consistently gone down. Anyone is allowed to live here. If I could afford it I would sadly move. This place used to be nice. Right across Westhiemer the Camden properties are nice and new. I wonder if they will stay that way. I wonder why they spend money to build new apartments but none to maintain what they have. The area itself is having new growth and is revitalized this apartment however remains unacceptable. Turnover is high and that is a sign of the transient nature of the low class people living here.
