average for houston' From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/25/2005 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004 2 responses   Overall, a pretty place, we had no personal problems. The pool area is gorgeous. Lots of parking, however no guard, or visible security to ward off the creeps. several 'key' jobs, tire thefts & car break-ins, overall lack of security (Come on Camden...at least fake it!-- i.e. security cameras or something!). The only other recurring problem is that the Velvet Melvin Pub neighbors the place so you can hear all of the party animals stumbling in very early in the am (guaranteed)....never realized how quiet a complex can be until I moved and got a good night's sleep!
