I'd Like to Recommend It, But I Just Can't.

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006

Pros:

Location.
With some kind of rent incentive, it's reasonably priced.
Nice kitchen.
Maintenance is prompt.

Cons:

Expect a 20% (minimum) rent increase when it's time to renew.
and has been previously stated:
The toilets clog.
The gates, both pedestrian and auto are routinely broken.
Frequent (every other month or so) car break-ins on the side streets.
If you're near 59 in the complex, it's louder than you think it will be.
Large deposit.
