I am a current resident of Camden Greenway and just signed another year renewal! Let me tell you why I would recommend these apartments:
* Location - I work in the River Oaks area and spend approximately 3 minutes commuting in the morning and in the evenings.
* Parking is plentiful! I love the drive-to-your-level garage parking. Even on the fourth floor (which is a desirable place to live), there is always ample parking.
* The staff - how much more professional can you get''' Every person in the Camden Greenway office has a genuine desire to make me happy at every point of contact. I truly enjoy popping in to pick up a package because you can FEEL the smiles. The maintenance team is composed of friendly, professional and efficient workers who always tend to my needs on time and virtually undetected.
* Amenities - beautiful pool, gorgeous landscaping, fitness center big enough to accommodate several users, cable is CHEAP, valet waste makes life easy, dry cleaning delivered to the office. I have two walk-in closets in my master bedroom alone and a huge second bedroom for my office. I am definitely not lacking in storage space.
I have a burning urge to retort the ratings listed here that insist upon an apartment owner to be responsible for the safety and protection of residents and their property. If you owned your own home, who would be responsible' The builder' The fact is that I watch my back wherever I go in Houston and I take precautionary measures to ensure that I don't tempt crooks... so far so good and I didn't ask the management company for any help!
I have not received any special treatment from Camden Greenway... I am just realistic about what should be expected as an apartment dweller. As I see it, Camden Greenway meets (and sometimes exceeds) my expectations.

You pay more for an apartment because they take care of issues like safety for you. And before you say that you don't pay more - that's wrong. you do. You will never get the money back that you pay in rent, you can't sell your apartment, it isn't an investment. Property managers are expected to take care of maintenance, resident safety, grounds, everything you would take care of if you were the owner. You are not the owner in this case, so it is their responsibility.
