I have lived at Camden for 2 years. I liked the area and that is the main reason for staying, but have now realized it is not worth it.
The management changes about twice a year (this should raise a red flag in itself) and the current management is absolutely incompetent. There is quite a bit of crime in the area (for ex. our mail was stolen out of our mailbox, one whole building's mailbox) and the management did not handle the situation correctly. They did not fix the mail center for over 6 weeks and we had to pick all of our mail up at the office. The office then lost more than one of my packages and also important documents. Oh, and the office filed the incident report incorrectly and did not allow residents whose mail was stolen to have access to the report!
This is just ONE of the MANY problems with living in this complex. The management is not helpful and does NOT go out of their way to accomodate residents.
Also, in 24 months of residence at Camden, my AC has gone out probably 5 times and was not fixed correctly at times which resulted in ENORMOUS electric bills.
By the way, watch out for your apartment rates. Even though the market goes down, they try to charge you as much as possible when you renew. There are absolutely NO benefits for renewing renters year to year.
The actual apartments are not bad, but is not worth the price due to what you have to deal with living here. There are plenty of other nice places in the area that I am sure treat residents with much more respect and appreciation.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR SANITY WITH CAMDEN GREENWAY!

I live here also, Building 21. My mail has been stolen as well. THe worst part about this complex is that they just started a new program called "Valet Waste". It is a complete waste of money. The management tacked on another $25 a month to my rent to pay, and all they do is pick up my garbage from in front of my door. I live approximately 200 yards from the dumpster and I am one of the furthest from the parking garage where the dumpster is located. What makes me really upset is that UPS left a package by my door. Valet Waste picked it up and threw it away. I had to fish it out of the dumpster! Incompetence is inexcusable.
