I lived here for a year from Aug 06 to Aug 07.
The thing about these sites is, most of the folks who leave reviews are only the ones who have had problems. I liked Camden Greenway. It looked really nice, had a 'young professional vibe' and it was quiet. I didn't really have any problems. I think someone was bitchin about parking, there's freakin Huge parking garages for each building. When parking got tight(past 8pm) there was always parking on the upper levels, I lived on the 3rd floor so it worked out for me. Street parking wasn't bad either, all parking is unassigned.
Someone also bitched about the cable service provided. You have the Option to get it or not. I got it because it was basic cable plus HBO for $40/mo which was all I wanted. If you go with Comcast and want HBO you have to get like a premium cable package or some ----, with all these other channels which is more expensive.

The main gripe is that the energy bills were retardedly high, not sure whats goin on there. I moved to the greenway apts from outta town so maybe it's a houston thing. It was about a 40% increase from austin,tx energy bills.
The other gripe would be security. They probably need more security guards. Although I had nothing happen to me, residents were made aware of a few robberies that happened. It's a cool little area to be in, but it's kinda shady at the same time when it gets dark. Some buildings did have issues with gate maintenance, my building and many others buildings gates were ok.
The addition of valet trash(that you pay extra for) seemed unnecessary. Before, there were small dumpsters for each floor of apartments, and you would always walk past em when walking out to your car in the parking garage, you could easily dump your trash on your way out.
As for my rent, I paid 975$/mo, this included cable, covered parking, and washer/dryer. Now without a doubt 975$/mo is a lot of money, but now that I'm living in L.A., the same place in a similar part of town is about 2200$/mo, haha.
