O/A Great place to live

Lived here over a year now and I must say, this is one of the best apartment complexes in Houston. First off, for all you complaining about the cost, I DARE you to find a place that is as nice as this property, in the area it is in, for the same price. 'Cause you wont! If you can t afford it, well, then don't rent here...that simple.
They did have some issues with doggy excrement being left in court yards. This has been addressed and has decreased significantly.
For those who complain about noise, be smart enough to live on the 3rd floor or you share a common floor/ceiling or combination there of with your neighbors. Again YOU chose the place. Is it the complex's fault or user error' Also it would be nice if people would tread lightly in the morning. I always hear Ms. Business lady walking through the halls with 3 inch heels slappin them down as hard as possible. OK we get it your a beast at your office, tread lightly at home ok'
The gym RULES! It s huge and has great equipment. But the little 15 year olds that come in there and use the weights will not re-rack them despite the signs the office has put up. They have also since destroyed the bench rack so it is no longer (safely) usable. Ample Cardio machines as well. Cleaned regularly and machines are oiled regularly.
Excellent parking garages. Spaces are large (I have a BIG truck). Could be policed a little better to stop people from parking in Handicap spots or just to stop people from parking like jerks. Some people dont understand the concept of a line (guess they didnt pass kindergarten the first time 'round) and will park over the line on purpose. If I can get my big 'ol truck into a spot, NO ONE should have a problem with this. Also several people own multiple cars. They park them and leave them in prime spots for months on end. Again this is where the complex drops the ball by lack of parking marshaling. Gates tend to be broken for lengths at a time. But if someone really wanted in, any dinky gate at any apartment complex wont stop them. Safety however is not an issue. There have been some auto break in's. But the last one I heard about was over 6 months ago.
The office staff - is for lack of a better word, outstanding. Ashley in particular goes above and beyond EVERY time I have ever spoken to her about an issue concerning the apartment. Dolly the manager has never once disappointed. Props to you guys for doing such a killer job.
Compared to the last dump I lived in (Bayou Park - read the reviews...literally a dump) this place is stellar.
Location, location, location. Greenway is right in the middle of everything. I work in the med center. 15 minutes to work is a god send. All the restaurants, bars, clubs, dives, and ice houses are a stones throw from this place.
Maintenance has NEVER taken more than 24 hrs to fix a problem (which have been few and far between). Some people will gripe about recent troubles due to Hurricane Ike. 2 words - Shut up. Others had it far worse than you.
The interiors are magnificent. 3rd floor = 12 foot ceilings. Elec will be a little higher, but for the top floor I don t mind at all. HUGE balconies as well. Dishwasher and clothes washer are WAY too loud, but just run it while running errands and you don t have to worry bout this. The walls do seem to transmit noise easier than some other places. However, considering I like it real quiet, so does my room mate, and so do the people that live below us, this gives us all extra incentive to keep noise to a minimum.
Most of the complaints I have read on this site are due to peoples necessity for instant gratification, impatience, stubbornness, or un-realistic time frames/prices yadda yadda yadda. This is a great complex. And if everyone would treat it as such, it would be even better!
Sorry this is so long. But I like to be thorough.

OP (Thats "Original Poster)" here. No I'm not office staff, I do live on property, I have no affiliation with Camden other than the fact I pay rent to them each month. Just cause you got beef with them doesn't mean you get to go bad mouthing people that don't. It's all you effing nay-sayers that screw everything up for companies. Its bad enough you sit with your fatty boom-bah a$$ and complain about stuff all day. Why not actually praise someone instead? And at least I can spell and proofread.
