I just renewed after my first lease. Admittedly got a great price when I leased, but I was originally given a $135 increase. I talked to the staff and managed to get a more reasonable increase. This place is really close to my work, and I checked: most places in my price range are A LOT more shady than this place. Maintenance requests are taken care of usually within a couple days (its a big place, i guess), but the staff is always nice when I call. About crime, it's to be expected in Houston; but I guess when you leave stuff in your car it's bound to happen: I make sure to put my stuff away (nav system, etc.) and haven't had any problems yet. I've noticed an improvement in the staff being more responsive and proactive with problems, though. For the area and the money, there really isn't much to complain about. I guess there are pros/cons to each place, but I've recommended Greenway to a few friends of mine who have moved here.

"but I guess when you leave stuff in your car it's bound to happen" Your kidding right? I left NOTHING in my car yet it gets broken into twice. Would have been the right thing to do from management telling it's tenants that happened (40 cars broken into - mine included) however they chose to hide it from the tenants who did not get their vehicles broken into. How about fixing the gate on Eastside so it closes. It's been open for over a week. They do not care.
