I have been a resident at this complex since 07/2006 and recently heard of what has been going on in the complex, after the window to my vehicle was broken into just last week. I just found out yesterday from my neighbor that his vehicle has been broken into 3 times and their second vehicle once. The maintenance man himself, has even commented that he does not understand why management does not have security if this is a regular thing. The police officer that came out told me that it happens every single day in the complex. Then the office told me that the same day it happened to me it happened to another resident and will ask the 2 HPD residents to keep a look out and that car being broken into is a common thing in the area ! ! ! I too mentioned to the office about the gates and was told that the company is called out everyday and does not understand why people push the gate open.

Anytime a little rain comes, the parking lot becomes a pond for ducks. It takes days for for the water to "dry" out. Then I have called the office and has taken 3 calls so finally send somebody out . . . on of the times they used my restroom and left the seat up ! ! ! I called the office twice to see if it was the maintenance man or somebody that broke into my apt and never received a call back. One of the times I asked for a light bulb to be replaced and was told to go out a buy the light bulb and replace it myself. I guess the office "did me the favor" in replacing the bulb, because I do not own a ladder to reach the ceiling.

This past week, I found out that the break-in of resident's vehicles is a common thing for the complex from residents and office; and the office is not doing nothing to repair gates or to provide any kind of safety for residents. Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7

Sounds like there is no remedy for that property! Come by COlony Oaks on Chimney Rock. You will be surprised how beatiful these apt are in the inside! Crime is minimal and mangement stays on top of things! The gates ALWAYS work too! Let me know if you would like more info because I would like to be your refferral!
