Chancellor Apartments

HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT live here for any reason!!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/30/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   This is the worst community I have ever seen. I wouldn't live here again if my life depended on it. Trust me, the box on the side of the road in the projects sounds like a better place then here! Here are a few of the incidents we had gone through in the 5 months we were here. Remember, this is only a handful of the daily dramas you will have to live with if you move in. First, we have been through 5 managers in 5 months. They have all promised to have the gates fixed but to no avail. I've been told by several people they have been told that for the last 2 years. Our car was stolen one night right in front of the office, all they said was "Oh sorry to hear that." The first apartment we had gotten looked like someone took a..... you get the picture.... all over the carpet and spread it around with their feet and there was trash all over the stairs. Then a week later there were rumors that a guy killed his girlfriend!!! We had a hole in our bathroom ceiling for TWO weeks from where the upstairs apartment leaked. I had to threaten to call my attorney and the Texas Apartment Association before they came out to fix it. They claimed they had no sheet rock in stock to fix it. HELLO!!!! HOME DEPOT''' Our neighbors beat the crap out of each other with baseball bats on several occasions, but the office doesn't mind the noise.. they don't live here, they don't care. The last incident, which is the one that pushed me to break my lease... a woman got shot in the parking lot.. not once or twice but MANY times. And the next night the cops were out again for what looked like a man beating his wife to a bloody pulp. By the way, a fight in the parking lot here happens more often than a normal person changes their underwear. Oh, and not that anyone would be surprised, but the parking is awful as well and the lights in the lot and in the units NEVER work. And don't try to tell future tenants what has happened to you if you choose to live here, the manager will take you outside, yell at you like toddler, and try to evict you. If you see these apartments RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!!
