I've read some of the reviews and I know for a fact that more times than not most people will write something bad before they'd ever write anything good. The 2 previous entries are entitled to their own opinion, I just don't think their being fair, or that they know the whole story. There seems to be this idea that the staff doesn't care but I know that I've seen at least two times where the staff has put themselves in harms way to try and deter or even stop a crime in progress. Another thing to keep in mind is that it's the middle of a recession. Look at statistic, crime goes up with the unemployment rate and to blame it on an apartment complex seems unfair. I found out that maintenance has been staying later and later to not only take care of the work orders but to also help set up intrusion alarms to help people feel more safe during these times. The comments that say the staff is unprofessional or that they don't care seems very misleading. The staff goes out of their way to help people both professionaly and personally as well. Be it something as simple as making a joke or listening to a residents bad day. I know that there is going to be a difference of opinion but I honestly think you judge for yourself. Get to know the staff and you'll find some very remarkable people. Just my opinion.

While I may not know the "entire" story when I write my opinion it is more "my story". And about the staff putting themselves in harms way to stop a crime it would be very great if you can tell exactly how rather than making vague statement. Anyway what I expect of the staff is not to take the bullet for me, fight crimes or be my therapist("listening to a residents bad day") what I expect for them is to know why the water bill is late (not Day1 : it has already been sent me: did not get it Day 2 : we could not find it with us i am sure it has been sent Day 3 : Sorry it is late this month we have not got it till now), to be able to look up the rent changes and not sit there and guess etc. An about crime and unemployment rate and statistics do you really think that helps when I am a victim? If your car has been vandalized would you just shrug you shoulder and say well statistics says it could have been worse? While every apartment has its own problems when you pay a premium price (yes it is higher than a lot of apartments in the area) you expect a premium service also. A lot of us started the lease on that assumption.

I agree. seriously? "staff putting themselves in harms way" - you watch too much TV kiddo. They are incompetent, rude and extremely unhelpful. Sometimes I even think they take pleasure in showing that they have control over your living situation. You won't believe how much I have to grovel for something as simple as getting a gate key. As for security - its a joke. I got my garage and noticed another car had access to it as well. They had my garage previously and had programmed it on their mirror. I watched the other car open and close my garage door and noted down the license plate. Only then did they change my garage key. Extremely unprofessional.
