What attracted me to Chateau Dijon was the spacious 2 bedroom that was perfect for a roomate situation. But after I moved in, the management's rudeness and overall nastiness have caused me to write comments on this site. I have lived in a lot of apartments in Houston and Chateau Dijon has by far the rudest management I have experienced. I lived there for a year and from the day I moved in I was harrassed for one reason or other. I dreaded coming home sometimes because inevitably there would be a note on the door saying I was not compliant with something or other(trash not left in the right place) or some other picky nonsense. You would think with that attention to detail that maintenance would be on the ball, but sometimes requests would fall on deaf ears, i.e. there was scratching and scraping in the walls that sounded like rats chewing the walls that would wake me up at 4am. Management explained that there is a hole in the side of the roof and that the squirrels get in there and chew on the wood. They basically blew me off, so I had to endure the animals in the walls until my lease was up. After I left, I saw on the news that someone was shot and killed in the parking lot and was so relieved I got out of there. So if you don't mind extremely small bathtubs, an over-abundance of squirrels, rude management, and close proximity to the crime of the Richmond strip, then move here. But take my advice, it's not worth your life--or your sanity.

This review is ridiculous! Haha! Mad about squirrels? Seriously? Management and maint. are the best around. If you're trashy, don't pay, or act like you're in the ghetto of course management is gonna have a problem! Thank god for them keeping people like you out!
