I love this place!!!! I have never had an issue with safety...I can't imagine that the office did not show any empathy for the prior reviewer. We do live in "Houston" and you do have to be aware of your suroundings at all times. Thank goodness I have never had a problem with varmits or bugs...nor do I hang out to watch our "Texas Tree roaches" crawl around - Hello you now live with them in Texas!!!! Love it or leave it!!!
If you want to live in the Galleria with out paying a fortune and like big unique apartments - check them out - it is a great place to live!

This review sounds like it has come from one of the staff at the apartments. I had very similar problems when I lived there as well. I had a mold problem that left all my clothes and furniture smelling horrible. I brought this to the attention of the management but they just disregarded me over and over. I lost a good portion of my deposit even though I had a maid come in to clean the whole place when I moved out. I actually got charged like $50 because there was dust on top of my ceiling fan! The apts are not gated so there is are spurts of crime that happen. Yes there are tree roaches but I don't know how/if you can get rid of them. The apts are a good price for the Galleria area and the architecture is unique, but with all the problems I had there, I don't think it's worth it. It sounds like this user is offended by the previous bad review, but the allegations accurate.
