YOUR BETTER OFF PAYING MORE From: hardtofindagoodplace Date posted: 7/13/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   I've been here about a year and I hate it. The first problem is everything in my apartment is terribly old. I moved in about the time when they claim to be remodeling but, in order to get your apartment remodeled it's an extra $100.00 a month on your rent. I've never heard of paying for your apartment to be remodeled .I had a water stain on my ceiling that started to get bigger and leak and it took about 3 weeks for them to come out and fix it and that was only after calling the city of Houston on them twice for the same issue.Also, plan on waiting at least 3 weeks if you have a maintenance issue, which you will because like I said everything is old. My toilet constantly leaks they came out to fix it and of course it still leaks. Also, to make a bad situation worse everytime that it rains it floods around here . The one entrance that we have gets flooded so they have to open up side gates and sometimes they don't even do that. One time it rained really bad and the inside of my car got soaked and none of my windows were down. I also hate the one entrance and one exit.Oh, did I forget to mention that I have fire ants attacking me and my kids and they have the nerve to want their rent on the 1st (not a day later or late fees) and they can't even honor a maintenace request. They Suck With a capital S.You're better off paying a little more to get a caring office staff and get away from the Ghetto. I forgot to mention that I spoke to the assistant manager about the water stain and it still wasn't taken care of and she tried to act clueless when the City Of Houston notified them.
