The good outweighs the bad for me. Ultra convenient location. A gorgeous 24-screen movie theater (Marque) is two minutes away, and everything else I need is within a few minutes: groceries, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe's, a mall and various shopping centers, etc. All of this is a short drive west and once you learn the streets you can easily avoid the infamous Houston traffic snarls. Downtown is ten minutes in the other direction. Really great location.
Apartment specifics: The tall ceilings make the apartments feel bigger than they are, which is nice. Construction quality is on the upper end, though there are definitely some head-scratcher quirks: Freezer door only opens halfway because of wall. Can't open bathroom drawers with door open. Closet light switch in a dumb, inconvenient spot. Lots of little things like this. All in all, nice apartment.
Management: Hmmm. Gwen is warm and friendly. I've not had much interaction with the others, but they've always been helpful enough.
Ameneties: HUGE PROBLEM HERE. Not with the features, mind you, but with the fact that they're useless unless you happen to work nights and stay home during the day. The fitness center is accessible 24/7, but all the others are locked up at 6 PM; the lobby, the library (DVD and books), the activity center with the pool table, coffeemaker, kitchen, shuffleboard, etc., all locked up and therefore meaningless.

I am thinking about moving in and was told there is a concierge that will allow you access to the movie library and business office... is this true? As for the party room with the pool table, I think they are trying to preserve it. I used to live in a nice complex that allowed 24 access to all tennants and the stuff was a wreck in just a matter of months. I would think this concierge would be able to keep an eye on the items, if there really is a concierge... right? You listed safety as 3 out of 5... is there something you would like to add about the safety at this property? Thanks.

I heard that their is no longer a concierge? Has anyone else heard this?

The concierge is there from 2-9 Tues-Sat. I think. Whenever it is, it's sometime in the afternoon to sometime in the evening. She works in the leasing office, away from the game room so she is not able to keep an eye on it.
