Infested with cockroaches...

I moved into this complex in Febuary of 2005. I was the first person to live in my apartment. It seemed like a good place to live, but it slowly went downhill. The grounds are always littered with trash and beer bottles. My apartment became infested with cockroaches to the point where it is no longer habitable. I threw away a TV, VCR, DVD player, and a PS2 because they were infested with roaches and I didn't want to give them a free ride to my new house. The management staff is down right incompetent. If you have problems or issues, they will not get resolved unless you request assistance over and over and over again. Seems like they only hire large chested white girls who are very interested in showing off their chests. If you like loud rap music blaring out of every car that leaves the parking lot, then this is the place for you. Don't worry if your alarm clock breaks... the kids that wait for the bus will wake you up... or keep you from sleeping if you work night shift. Also, their 'high speed' internet is barely faster than dial-up. 15kbps is what you will get tops... and you can't get DSL, or cable internet... believe me, I tried. Overall, it was a horrible experience. The complex had a lot of potential, but the management and a lot of the tennants that reside there made it a horrible place to live. Lots of gangsta' thugs hang out and will give you the evil eye as you drive by. The summer time is awesome on Friday and Saturday nights when the punk kids come from all over to drag race in the industrial area less than a mile away. God help you if you get anything on the walls... the paint is crap. If you try and clean it off it will go straight to the drywall. And the parking is horrible if you don't have a garage or a covered spot. Oh, and it's fixed income housing, so there are a lot of worthless people living there.

Wow, I sure dogged this place and it deserved it. But let me add one final point. I left my apartment pretty trashed. I really didn't care to clean it and my kids did a number on it. I wasn't going to sweat the $275 deposit(forgot what the actuall figure was). Anways, 8(EIGHT) months after I moved out, I got a check in the mail for the full amount of my deposit! I couldn't get to the liquor store fast enough. Not sure how that happened, but oh well. One small plus for the place.

This is so true, I moved ther in April of 2005. All I see is people haging out parking lot. I had someone's child color on my car, and when I went to the office, I was informed the camera was not working. Management is horrible, I had them post my rent to someone else's apartment twice , then send me an eviction notice, I got no apology. Loude music, trash, gate always broke. These apartments have gone to the gutter. Johnna is not a people person, it is always new faces, and the expect you to watch channel 2 for apartment info, noone has time to watch that, do some work and send it out like normal apartments do. They don't have any people skills down there and everytime you call you can never get the person you are loking for, they are always gone. What kind of apartment complex is not open on Saturdays?

is it infestested with roaches because your apartment is nasty? do you wash your dishes and take out your trash daily? ;) that may have a lot to do with YOUR infestation. You lived here, it was your community, what did you do other than complain about the problems, did you offer solutions?
