This review is also a response to the previous review. I can easily copy from the brochure too. The Citywest apartments have in fact had major issues. They have slowly....(snails pace) addressed them, not all mind you some. For example the giant litter box next to lush texas shaped pool.
That had to get new sand and constant raking after several residents came down with ringworm. Once tested and the health department came out thses changes took place. Speaking of pests. Guess what rats and bugs are everywhere. Even a clean house has its share. However when you ask for an exterminator to come in to take care of these pests they should do the work they are contracted to do. Again after months of several resident complaints it was established that the exterminator was not infact doing the jobs. Now I understand after a rash of minor crimes within the complex. (drug deals, peeping toms, murder, etc) we have a crimewatch meeting. Yeah!!! I feel so much safer. I liked my old neighbors, you know the quiet couples and families. Funny they all moved. Hmmm I wonder why, perhaps its that loud music from those speeding SUV's in the middle of the afternoon. Some of you have been lucky enough to have great neighbors some not so lucky. For the unlucky, you have my sympathy, cause you will receive no relief from the staff.

City West id by far one of the Best looking proterties in all of houston, HOWEVER the staff and meeting the needs of the customers does not come first. They are very slow at fulling reguest, alwasy saying they are short on staff, well hire some new people not my problem. Also, that OVERCHARGED for the pirces of the apartment. I mean given the CRIME RATE with several CAR JACKING, WOMEN getting ROBBED in the middle of the night ect. The should at least have a GARD that checks cars in and out of the gate, MORE LIGHTING on property. MORE STAFF to protect the residents life.
The staff memeber seems some what UNEDUCATED on skilled on what their job is suppose to be. Mari the manager is a little slow mentally as well as betsy. now patty and the assistant manager are the only two in the office that has any common clue to what is going on with the property. With Increases on RENT and INCREASES on CRIME and nothing being done, CITY west should be closed down period.
