I compliment City View and their holding company on their attempt to turn the Greenspoint of Houston "Guns-Point" into a nice place to live but unfortunately that isn't the case. The rent is great $525 a month for a Galleria style apartment directly in the heart of the the cleaned up ghetto! When I first moved in, the tenants were mainly new graduates and Continental Airline Employees. Following 9/11 and the airline layoffs, I didn't see to many Continental people. Tropical Storm Allison added to the chaos by devastating first floor residents. Being next to the Greens Bayou, vandalism is always a positive thing! I had the wheels stolen off my car one night! Then that same car was lost in a flood not to long ago. Now the tenants are mainly UTI students who race fast cars up and down the parking areas. Did I mention street bikes on the sidewalks' Yes that too! Overall they are loud but they keep to themselves. The crowd is very diverse here. In one apartment you can have a guy coming out with a briefcase in his hands and a few doors down you can have S0noop Dog's younger cousins kickin' it with the ghetto folks from the surrounding "hoods" Its a crazy place to live! On the positive, maintenance is pretty good but it doesn't make up for the lack of security, vandalism, weird people, and crime I have experienced. The bottomline is this, City View sucks bad. Unless you are a HS or college drop out thriving on a few bucks and looking for the next 18-pack Bud party with Walmart fold-up chairs as furniture, don't even bother with a trip to the leasing office at City View. You will regret this place! Guaranteed crime done to you or your car. Promise.....

i recently contemplated on getting an apartment at city view and the price was ridiculously cheap i was even offered further discounts simply to lure my ass into an agreement.i began having skepticism about the neighbourhood because, why in the world would you get a 550 sq feet apartment for below $300.Ok i began driving through the neighbourhood at late nights to see things for myself,i noticed a lot of night life (hoodlums) and around the macy mall, idle and junky looking people roaming around aimlessly. This gave me a glimspe of negativism towards that neighbourhood, considering also the personal opinions y'all have given about this neighbourhood and the fact that city view management does not act in accordance with a tenancy agreement by ensuring security, clean environment to the tenants and supply good maintenance at the nick of time. This surely has given me an answer to my demographical research of the greens point/ city view area.I VALUE MY LIFE AND HEALTH SO MUCH AND I APPRECIATE YOUR ADVICE.NOW I REST MY CASE AND NEED TO GET A BETTER APARTMENT ELSEWHERE.THANKS Y'ALL.

If you thought it was bad then you have to see it now. Now I know why my apartment has so many cracks in it. Hmmm, water damage maybe?
