When i was first introduced to this complex, I thought it was a nice community given the fact that it was renovated and that they cared about their complex with the maintenence of the lawn. I also looked at the prices and the discounts (i have a two bedroom under $550) and decided to move there not knowing what I was in for. Since I have a sports car, thieves or scumbags assumed that they could break in and steal but luckily i have an alarm that sounds very loud. They did escape and break a window, and my car was parked in a well lit area two doors down from my apt back door(i wouldn't think they would break in a well lit area). Neways I have had other issues such as the appt lying about maintenance requests and no one calling back when they said they would. You have to damn near go to office to accomplish something. If you have a maintence emergency and want to leave a message the mailbox is full. It is a hassle contacting the police because it takes them longer because it is such a large complex. The parking is TERRIBLE, and i mean it. If you come home after 7,chances are you will be parking a mile away from the complex which will increase the break in chances. If you've been around this complex for more than 3 months, the true Greenspoint will come out. As soon as my lease ends, I will look elsewhere. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE AND MOVE HERE. UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CAR BROKEN INTO AND YOU WANT INCONVIENIENT PARKING, EMERGENCIES, AND MAINTENCE FOR THE PRICE. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

I've been living in the apartments for about seven months, and I have yet to experience anything of the sort. Of course, I might be eating my words, as I still have five more months to go, but my experience has been nice, for lack of a better word: maintenance calls are done on the day they are put in; the agents in the leasing office are friendly and eager to assist; and it's relatively quiet considering what I thought it was going to be like. There's little to no loitering at night, no loud music thumping through the walls (we did have some rude and obnoxiously loud neighbors at one point, but some other neighbors complained and they were evicted). Parking is hit-or-miss, but I've been lucky so far as to find a spot on my side of the apartments - I'm never more than four or five spots away from my door.
I've been told that some "phases" are better than others. My experience so far is making me consider leasing another apartment in the complex, but I'm still on the fence.

Anonymous on 06/13/2008 is telling anything but the TRUTH, I think that may be someone who works for Cityview Place trying to write a good review to help this sad community trying to sucker in more tenants. I have lived here for 9 months and I can't wait until my lease is up. The leasing agents are full of it, they LIE for a profession. Maintainence is horrible, they are so LAZY and take forever to fix anything and most of them don't speak ANY english so explaining what problems to fix is impossible. Loud music is a constant problem (Mexican Music). The pools are never available, they are always reserved or closed during the Summer. The equipment in the gym is old and nothing works. It's like they found old gym equipment from a dump site and put it in Cityview's fitness center. Parking is a complete nightmare. NO TENANT APPRECIATION. They wine and dine you until you sign that lease. Then it's like "to hell with you" If you want a clean, safe, nice living environment, Cityview Place is NOT the place for you.

I totally and utterly agree with you. I think that they might be a plot with someone working at City View to steal vehicles in the complex and break in the apartments. My vehicle was stolen then I would get anonymous calls at midnite telling me that my vehicle was found and that i would have to go to some wrecker place in Aldine. Whatever! I would leave to work by 6 am I tried contacting someone at that time in the office as an emergency. No one was available until 10 am. The staff is very unprofessional and inefficient. They have cameras around the complex but they are of no use. The code for the fence was not installed for me until after my vehicle was stolen since they kept on saying it did not work. I lived there for 8 months. They never fixed anything and I would hear gunshots and people fighting all the time. I paid 797.00 a month and it was the worst experience of my life. Please, do not move here especially if you are a single female. I think that someone in the office is the conspirator to all this. Becareful and do not move into this place. I left Houston, I did not feel safe there anymore.
