Adequate for the price

Everything is adequate, but nothing special for the price. Parking in the front of the property is very sparse, and adequate in the back of the property. The walls are a bit thin, and general noise seems slightly above normal because of nearby construction (11/04), kids yelling down the halls (same anywhere), and the booming noise of people walking on the floor above or nearby stairwell. I've been lucky in that all my adjacent neighbors are quiet (I'm probably the noisy one). The grounds are kept reasonably clean, but since they allow dogs, the tenants do a poor job of picking up after their dogs, despite trash cans and doggie bags placed at key areas, and frequent nastygrams to everyone from management. So watch your step. The complex is well lit, and organized safely. The construction, while new and seemingly more elaborate, is nothing special, though that is a subjective opinion as compared to many other apartments built later than 1990. I've not made use of maintenance despite a few things being broken, but I've heard from neighbors that they are mostly happy with the timeliness of the response. The staff, like any other complex, is friendly enough until you move in. Overall, the place is one of the nicer places in the northwest area, but only just adequate for the money.
