Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
Me and my girlfriend have lived at the Club at Copperleaf for over a year now and we have been very pleased. The only dislikes that I have are that the gates are a constant problem. About every two months, one of the gates will break down and it always seems to take another month or two for it to get fixed. The other thing that I don't like is that the staff seems to turn over every three months. This apartment complex has been run by three different management companies in the last year.
Now for the positive. Every time that we have had a maintenance problem, it seems to get fixed if not instantly, then within a couple hours. The best thing about this apartment is that these people did not accept any vouchers from Hurricane Katrina Victims. That means that there is little or no crime. We lived in an apartment complex a mile from here before we lived here, and my truck was broken into 4 times in one month. Our apartment was robbed in that same month. Needless to say, that was the last month that we lived there.
The main thing about this place is that you get what you pay for. If you want a nicely laid out apartment floor plan with a friendly community of people in a more or less crime free complex. Then you should live here. But, you are going to pay for it. We pay 955 a month for a 1 bedroom with a study and we are moving to a cheaper place downtown.
