When I first moved here in 2006..I had a horrible roach infestation upon moving in...my hubby and I were really upset because majority of our appliances were brand new and we were worried that they would infesting them. The had a guy come out and spray twice and it did nothing. Finally I sugggested to Kim if I were to buy my own products would they reimburse me..they did...never had much of a problem after that expect my hubby car got broken into, and that you had to hurry and get there before dark to get a parking spot thats not in the visitors area...other wise we lived there for a year and it was great...we moved b/c of job relocation in another city....in 07/2008 we wanted to move back...(in construction youre always moving from city to city). Kim and Naomi welcomed us back, they were always attentive, warm, and welcoming...Well this time matters where nothing like our last experience....cars were broken into more often...kids running up and down the halls ways....sitting on the steps...loud music...you can hear arguments thru the wall...the neighbor above me, you could hear every step he or she took...and the a/c unit didnt not distribute evenly....they tried to fix it four times....the masters bedroom was really hot I had to put it on 55 just for it to feel like 75. But anyways...after the storm...the property was tore up worst than any other complex in the northside area....It flooded from upstairs into my living room...cheap material was plastered all over the lawns and everything..we expected some damage but not all of this in the picture we posted...It stayed like this for weeks...they finally got to removing the carpets in peoples homes...and the floors were just nasty underneath...then they brought in these big industrial blowers and humidifers as if us working people could afford an $800 dollar light bill...thats right just for one month....I stopped using them after I got that bill....but what totally pissed me off was that they didnt want to let me out of my lease and my apartment had lots of mole and moisture from the flooding and etc...who in there right minds would pay 775 for a two bedroom with no carpet, nasty floors, mold, and hazards living conditons...they literally posted signs saying they were not responsible for flat tires or any damage while during construction on the property....it was nails and material everywhere....It was a total nightmare...and the hurricane just peeled our apartments back like a tuna can..just imagine if we get a tornado..oh and their cable company sucks...any time it sprinkles your cable and internet is out for a day or two...so dont think youll be getting comcast or uverse anytime soon...i think you can get dish but you have to pay the satelite deposit and get renters insurance...lol...Dont waste your money or your time unless they reduce the rent tremendously....I broke my lease and threatened corporate with my lawyers....they didnt want to jeopardize their profits....they dont care about there renters only there renters monthly payment of rent. I really did love the space though.
