non-responsive management From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/5/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   Last summer my electric bill exceeded $300 for a 900 sq.ft. 2 bedroom apartment - ridiculous! Maintenance put freon in the a/c several times over a period of about one month and I felt no difference...the unit ran all day and all night. After sweating (@ 80 or 85 degrees) every night I suggested that a new a/c unit be installed. The management refused and put a rude letter on my door explaining how an a/c works...like I was an idiot. Finally, after threatening to call the HAA, they agreed to install a new unit. It's worth mentioning that they did agree to refund us half of our electric bill cost for the several months that it took them to fix the unit.
