Why is my rent going up' From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/24/2007 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007   I've lived here for almost 3 years, and everytime I go to renew, my rent goes up! What's the deal' Shouldn't you want to KEEP your residents as opposed to drive them away' Have had no issues with management or maintenance, everything is always fixed in a timely manner should something go awry and the complex is relatively peaceful (when you dont have people blasting their steroes as they go through the front/exit gate, ugh...). Not a terrible place to live, but I can do much better for the $850 rent (that was originally $728!), so am planning to move within the next few months.
