When I scheduled my move the apartment shown was nice. (NOTHING SPECIAL). Location of apartment changed several times due to lack of communication in the office. Upon move in the apartment was not ready carpet was old and worn. The porter mentioned that managment approved the carpet. I was not happy. The vents were black with mold the apartment smelled. The freezer smelled like fish. Counters and cabinets were painted different colors. The tub was rough. Stove was greasy - stove knobs hard to turn. Toilets smelled. Windows were black around the edges. Manager was not available. Movers were there I had no where else to go. Unfortunatley I moved in hoping all the wrong could be taken care of. Manager was concerned at first. Took so long to get the apartment ready where it should of been. Unfortunatley maintenace was slow. Always having to come back. Bathroom cieling fell through after 3 maintenace request. The vents were handled through an independent contractor who used my Pine-sol to clean them. No he did not ask to use my cleaning products. The apartment always smelled. The a/c only cooled my bedroom. The second bedroom was always hot. Managment let me know that is how the apartment was built and there was nothing they could do. The electric bill was outrageous. No compensation what so ever. I contacted the managment office itself and they were not helpful either. As soon as my lease was up I gave my notice and left.
