A Great Place to Live!!!!!

For all of you that said "no" . You must live on the wrong side of the apts. I lived at Driscoll Place for 9 years. I came from STL and I live in the county, I am a suburbarany. So I now about the streets of STL and I know about living around getto ass people, To say all of that. Driscoll Place is a nice place to live, if you are on the right side of the apts. (newer ones) I never had a problem only, during (2003-2004) when some bad elements move in.Kids out in the street playing all around the mail boxes etc. And then I complained to staff and the staff at that time took care of it. And they did move. But in the 9 years, maintance was excellent.I'm talking same day serive.(For nine years) Parking , excellent. I don't know. I paid my rent on time and the staff took care of me. They almost begged me to stay, but after nine years on the north side. I wanted to see what it was like on the west side. And now I'm in a nicer and larger apt. close to everytime. Maintance is horrible(I was so spoiled coming from Driscoll, now my ---- get fixed, maybe in 2 days and sometimes I have to call and compaine if its not fixed by the two days. I hated!!!)
The parking is twice as horrible, no security. An now I pay $175 more in rent. I jump out of the sket in to the fire place, to say it all.What regets!!! Driscoll place wasn't as new as these are, but the service I recieve at Driscoll Place so top where I live now and it gets a better rating and revieves. And now I now that no matter how newer the apt is. If you find a nice place and don't be fool by the newest of these apts. Some down home places like Driscoll place, take better care of there residents. And you will have bad elements where ever you go. Its about finding the right place for you. Crime is everywhere. And if you really want to know. Bad elements pick the nicer apts. because that think people here have money or nicer things.NOT!!! They don't go to the average apts. If you want to steal clothes and know you could get away with it, you would go to Nordstrom instead of Sears. Same thing with apts. I've been here a year and have gotten 6 notices about crime going on here. I never was that scared in Driscoll Place, but now I'm really frighten. Driscoll place never went a day longer if there gate was broken, they woulded jump on it and have it fixed. Somethimes I use to want it to be broken so I would not have take the time to get my card out. I just want to drive in. But they where really good at fixing things and give you upgrades. I never had a problem with noise. Once in a while you may hear people in the parking lot(raw 2/a year) But I was always surprise how quite it was here. Carol took good care. The Staff has changed over the years I was here. They where not so good before I left, but I could always talk with Carol and she would help. I even recommend to my hard to please cousin, and she liked it at Driscoll too. I also forgot to say. Where I live, there is a guy that lived at Driscoll too,and is now living here an we both agreed about how great it was living at Driscoll as to where we live now. Give it a chance and get in good with top mgt. Carol always had the last to say.
