I MOVED IN DRICOLL PLACE ON DECEMBER 19,1999. IT WAS NICE THEN IT TANKED! I MOVED OUT ON MARCH 30,2008 AND THEY FOUND ALL TYPE OF REASONS TO TRY TO MAKE ME STAY AND WHEN I REFUSED THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR THINGS I HAD COMPLAINED ABOUT THAT THEY NEVER FIXED. I LIVED IN THREE DIFFERENT UNITS ON THE PROPERTY AND ALL OF THEM WERE HORRIBLE AND OUT DATED!I STAYED SO LONG BECAUSE OF MY JOB AND DAUGHTER'S SCHOOL.THE CRIME IS TERRIBLE AND MY NEIGHBOR WATCHED AS HIS CAR WAS BROKEN INTO.THEY NEVER FIXED ANYTHING AND WHEN THEY DID, IT WAS TOO LATE, DAMAGE WAS DONE.TRASH STAYED IN THE PARKING LOT FOR DAYS.PEOPLE SMOKED WEED OUT IN THE OPEN AND DRANK,PLAYED MUSIC LOUD ALL NIGHT LONG!AFTHER THE OFFICE PERSONAL CHANGED, THE FRIENDLINESS DID AS WELL.THINK TWICE BEFORE EVEN LOOKING AT THIS PROPERTY, GOOD LUCK!!!!!

All the comments about this property are truth and correct. I had lived there for almost 2 years and finally found some where much better. Living at Driscoll place was a nightmare to me. People surround your apartment can hear you through the wall. It kinda scary, isnt it? especially if you are a woman and living by yourself. Becarefull!!! think twice before moving into this dumpster!

I agree with things being out dated... all the hardware ( washer, dryer, dishwasher ) in this apartment is actually older than myself! When I moved in, two window panes were broken - those got fixed quickly, but nothing else was ever really addressed. The AC in the unit above me was leaking for a while, when I noticed the smell and moved my dresser, the drywall nearly caved in. With a growing puddle on the floor, it took almost two weeks for a maintenance guy to make his way out, and another two days to figure out what I was telling him all along - water is coming in from the unit above me. Once he fixed their AC, his solution to fixing my unit was to shampoo my carpet. This was about nine months ago, and to this day my bedroom wall is still stained, cracked, and brittle to the touch. I can agree and sympathize with everything else you've listed as well... certainly not a safe location for a single female. Or even a car, for that matter. I've had one stolen, the replacement broken in to twice, and three friend's cars broken in to as well.

I must agree with everything that is being said. I am trying to find me some place to move. When I first moved over in Driscoll Place, they were nice but now the environment has changed. The management team does nothing about the constant loud noise or the cars being broken into. I had my car broken into a total of 5 times but I was trying to stay until I was able to save for a house. But I can no longer do it. Although the management team has changed over the year, still the same attitude and nothing is being done to rectify my complaints. I am leaving even if I have to live with a relative for a while until I find something.

Follow up to my comment. I also forgot to mention that in these apartments it depends on where you live, what side you live on. I did not have any of these issues because I lived close to the emergency gate on the far left side in the back. I did not hear much noise, my boyfriend's car was broken into once but we figured out it was a kid. But lets face it anything can happen anywhere. I live in a much more expensive area now and things still occur. Just find whats best for you and your finances at the time you decide to move. The apartment I lived in was in the 1300s...Try that area. It was very quiet about 8 months ago.
